Downtown Public Washroom Facility Opens in Summerland

The District of Summerland has officially opened a new public washroom facility at Veterans Memorial Square as part of the Wharton Street Revitalization Project. Located near Memorial Park, the infrastructure enhances accessibility and comfort for residents and visitors in the downtown core.
The facility is fully accessible and includes baby change stations. A water fill station and drinking fountains are scheduled to become operational in March.
This new installation reflects the municipality’s commitment to upgrading public infrastructure and improving the overall downtown experience.
